Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School is back in full swing. The community is happy to be back together and celebrating this year's theme of Growing to Serve. There are many new and updated features on the campus this year.
The new building's foundation is underway, paving the way for 500 students to continue their Saint Jeanne's journey. New gas and sewer lines have been installed along with an underground drainage channel which will replenish the natural groundwater. The expansion project is projected to be completed by August 2023.
The football and soccer field has been completely renovated. The old grass was removed, and brand-new sod was planted, enabling the students to have the best athletic experience possible. In addition to the field, the Mustang's athletic program will be getting stronger with the addition of a weight room. The weight room features state-of-the-art lifting equipment for student-athletes to maximize their influence on the field.
Over the summer, we installed new water fountains throughout the campus, which feature water bottle filling stations. We have also updated all classrooms with fresh paint and faster internet giving the learning environment a streamlined atmosphere.
The Saint Jeanne's cafeteria is now Café Bordeaux. Café Bordeaux features a revamped dining experience with the installation of new kitchen equipment, accent lighting, and a fresh fruit stand where students are welcome to pick up a healthy snack.
