FFA
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.
Members are future chemists, doctors, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, engineers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields.
With more than 760,113 FFA members in 8,739 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the National FFA Organization has a strong presence as the largest student-led organization in the nation. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership.
Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic High School is proud to be one of four Catholic High Schools in the nation and the only high school in Temecula to offer a FFA Charter. The FFA is a school-based agricultural educational program featuring three components.
- Classroom and laboratory instruction this is contextual, inquiry-based, and interactive.
- FFA and organizations such as PAS and NYFEA that help members develop leadership, personal growth, and career success.
- Supervised agricultural experience (SAE) programs that allow members to apply knowledge and skills through experiential, service, and work-based learning opportunities.
